Biography
Dr Saeed Karimi is an Iranian environmental scientist and received his PhD degree in Environmental Planning at the University of Tehran, Iran. he is currently Assistant Professor in the Faculty of the Environment, University of Tehran, teaching at the graduate level. His research areas include Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and spatial modelling, environmental health, economic/urban geography, environmental planning. He has more than 15 years of experience teaching and researching environmental issues for private and government industrial, education sections. He is currently a member of several national and international journals and also published many books and papers in these fields. He works in the areas of environmental impact assessment, health impact assessment, health, safety and the environment, risk assessment, land use planning, and Geographical Information System.
